Without a doubt, Stardew Valley is one of the most popular independent games of all time. This farming RPG has been so popular since it came out in 2016 for PC that it has been brought to almost all major gaming consoles. For those who don’t know, Stardew Valley is a realistic role-playing game where players take over their grandfather’s farm in Pelican Town, which is in Stardew Valley. In this game, players can grow fields, buy animals, hunt, fish, and make food while getting to know the friendly people who live nearby.
Stardew Valley is so addicting and appealing for many reasons, one of which is how well it shows life in a small town. Talking to locals can boost their hearts, which can then be used to access stories that are specific to each character. They can marry someone they’ve grown close to and have kids with that person. The cute events that happen every year are another big draw for the game. There are nine of these fun events, and they can give you cool new things, special conversations, and mini-games.
Feast Of The Winter Star – 25th Of Winter
The main event of the Feast of the Winter Star, which is Stardew Valley’s version of Christmas, is giving gifts. In Pierre’s booth, players can buy Christmas things like a tree of the winter star or a winter flag, but there are no mini-games.
But it is the only holiday with a gift-giving event. A week before the event, players will be given a chance villager to gift. Players should go find their neighbor and try to find out one of their loves or likes. A good gift can earn you friendship points, which are worth 5 times as much as normal. If you want to get along well with the people in town, getting a good gift is a must.
Luau – 11th Of Summer
The Governor comes to Pelican Town every year for the gathering, and the Luau is held on the beach. The day before the event, Mayor Lewis will tell the players that it is a community dinner and that everyone in town, including the players, should bring something.
The Luau dinner can be tricky because six different things could happen. The hard part is that players can’t go back to their farms once the event starts, so they need to have everything they want to add already in their collection. The players should do their best to bring fancy, high-quality foods to the potluck, and they can learn what works best by trying different things.
Festival Of Ice – 8th Of Winter
During the winter, Cindersnap Forest also hosts the Festival of Ice every year. The forest will look cold and icy during this event, and people in the town will be making snowmen and igloos. Pierre’s booth sells Christmas lights again, and this time you can buy a rarecrow.
The main event at this fair is an ice fishing competition where people can compete against neighbors, including the fisherman who lives in the area. Willy will win the game if players don’t catch at least five fish in the time allowed. They will have to wait until next year to try to beat him.
Flower Dance – 24th Of Spring
You can only get to a part of Cindersnap Forest during the event where the Flower Dance takes place. People in Pelican Town are looking forward to an event where all the younger people dance a traditional dance. Except for one of the rarecrows that are only sold at this event, the things for sale aren’t very special. The real draw of this fair is the chance to dance with one of the bachelors or bachelorettes.
The Flower Dance is a very important move for anyone in Stardew Valley who wants to date one of the characters. You can ask a person to dance at the end of a talk. That means that anyone who wants to date one of the twelve single characters will need to be there. Players must already have four hearts with the person they want to dance with; if they don’t, they will be turned down. But if the dancer takes him up on his offer, their relationship will get even better.
Spirit’s Eve – 27th Of Fall
The story of Spirit’s Eve takes place in Pelican Town Square. In Pierre’s holiday shop, you can find cute and scary displays, like another rarecrow. There will be Soul’s Eve-themed tables all over town, and you’ll be able to see skeletons going around in cages.
The spooky maze, which is said to have been made by the mystery wizard, is the main attraction at this fair. As players move through, they can stop to talk to people in the town who are either scared to death or lost. When players finally get to the middle of the maze, they’ll get a very valuable golden pumpkin as a prize. You can sell it for 2,500g, give it to any person for hearts because everyone loves it, or use a sewing machine to turn it into a witch’s hat.
Dance Of The Moonlight Jellies – 28th Of Summer
Another festival that doesn’t have any mini-games or events where players can take part is the Dance of the Moonlight Jellies. Of course, it is one of the nicest and calmest events that happen every year. It takes place by Willy’s house on the docks.
Every year, everyone in Pelican Town gets together to watch the beautiful jellyfish migration. The lights along the docks attract the jellyfish. Pierre’s booth has some of the coolest things for sale, like a cute moonlight jellies sign and cloud stickers. Watching Mayor Lewis light more lanterns and the jellyfish swim by is the event part. It is a moving and beautiful moment.
Night Market – 15th-17th Of Winter
In Stardew Valley, the Night Market is the only event that lasts more than one day. It’s also the third event of the winter, which is the only time of year with more than two fairs. The Night Market is at the docks. And it has a wide range of goods from visiting sellers who come to town to sell them.
There are eight different traders. Four of them sell different things, and the other three let you do special things. For example, players can talk to the Desert Trader to get a free cup of coffee or go into the Mermaid Boat to see a show and find a secret prize. There are lots of fun things to do at this event, and the things that are offered change from year to year and day to day. Which keeps it interesting.
Egg Festival – 13th Of Spring
Every year, the Egg Festival takes place in Pelican Town. There are some great things for sale at this fun little fair, like strawberry seeds that are very expensive once they grow. The egg hunt, on the other hand, is what this event is all about.
A player can take part in the yearly egg hunt every year. Players will have one minute to find eggs by running around the middle of Pelican Town. This is a fun, if stressful, activity. There will be other people in the town looking for the eggs as well, and players must find nine (less in online) to win. Eggy Car players who win for the first time will get a straw hat. For each win after that, they will get 1,000g.
Stardew Valley Fair – 16th Of Fall
The Stardew Valley Fair is by far the most fun and involved event in the game. It takes place in Pelican Town Square, where many booths and shops have been set up with different goods and activities. There are six different places that players can go, from swimming to getting their fortune told.
The Grange Display is the festival’s main event, as if that wasn’t enough. Along with other people from the town, players will have the chance to show off their very best crops. You’ll get to talk about your win and 1,000 tokens. Which you can use to buy some great things in the store, like another rarecrow, a stardrop fruit, or a hat.
