Terry Crews Says They Could Do A Melissa McBride Spinoff Without Daryl!
If Carol and Daryl can’t be reunited on The Walking Dead, the last member of the Dead World, Terry Crews, will gladly take Daryl’s place.
“Maybe you don’t have as many Daryls as you think,” Terry Crews told Insider Zoom about his relationship with Tales of the Last Dead. “But he can only come back and thank us when we do something for him.”
“Of course I do,” said Cruise, who plays Joe at the beginning of the apocalypse. “It’s really impressive.”
First announced in September 2020, Carol & Daryl X was announced as a series based on the close relationship between Carol (McBride) and Daryl (Norman Reedus).
I was surprised to learn that Melissa McBride is not on The Daryl Show.
In April, AMC confirmed to Insider that McBride was leaving the spinoff, which is currently touring and filming in Europe.
AMC states, “Melissa going to Europe is an unacceptable argument.”
At a TWD event at San Diego Comic-Con in July, Reeds told fans that the Carol/Daryl story isn’t over yet, hinting that there’s more to come.
If yes, it’s new to McBride. In an interview with Reeds, the ‘TWD’ star shared a clear idea of continuing her story.
While the show is accurate, McBride is the only “TWD” character to survive the show’s pilot, whose character was killed off years before the show premiered.
The team praised McBride and Carole Pelletier’s performances and told an insider that it would be surprising if her character didn’t survive the final eight episodes of “TWD.”
“I would be very disappointed if something happened to him,” Cruz said of McBride’s behavior. “She’s a responsible woman and a great leader. Oh. Your job doesn’t always work.”
“It’s a nice arch. I’d hate to see what happens to it,” he added.
If Carol is still alive in TWD, she might reunite with Crew Joe at some point. The production team told us they believe Carol’s character is related to Tyrese (Chad Coleman), who has spent much time on the show since leaving the set.

The writers have confirmed that the story episodes in the third and fourth seasons will be horror themed. If Joe lives in Michigan, it won’t be far from where Carol is now in Ohio.
The team changed their minds when Joe and Carol were fired from the series.
“I like the picture.” “I love who he is and I love that he’s part of the core world of The Walking Dead,” Cruise told Insider of “TWD” character Joe.
“Look, I met Norman Reedus and I was like, ‘Man, we can go down,’ and we’re going to hurt him a lot,” Cruz said.
